Wrapping You up with Loving thoughts

Wrapping You up with Loving thoughts

Dear Ones
Tonight I sat and thought of you. I thought of all of you, my Yoga Kula. If you have attended my classes, workshops or retreats, I know you, and tonight you were in my thoughts.

I thought of You who lost your jobs this year.
I thought of You who became grandparents, and You who achieved your dream of being a mother (and you will be an incredible mother).
I thought of You who lost your beloved and You who lost dear friends and loved ones.
I thought of You who are feeling lost and You who have stepped into your own power
I thought of You who walk into the Yoga room so happy to be there and You who smile the entire time you are practicing
I thought of You who struggle with many movements, yet persist in practice knowing it can only get better (and it will if you stick with it, I promise).
I thought of You who have been coming for years (and giggle every time we do something which seems crazy yet you try it anyway) and You who have just joined this community of gentle, loving souls.

Over time we get to know each other in the most honest way possible. We meet each other as we are. Not in our work environment, and not part of our social circles. We share nothing but good energy and open honest talk, and I am truly grateful for every one of You.

Whether you still attend my classes, or haven’t been there for a while, you are a part of this community. I wish us all good things and to know that we are strong enough to weather the not so good things.
May we continue to share who we are and to embrace all of life’s joys and painful moments, as all are a part of life’s journey.
May we learn to live with equanimity, without too much attachment, nor too much aversion and be open to receiving the teachings presented everyday.

Namaste my friend,
The light in me sees the light in you,

Namaste
